I worked and trained in a number of upstate south carolina mill towns from 1979 to 1990. The premise is what if a bored family doctor ran for county cornoer just as series of murders began? The book follows both his practice and the unfolding mystery with hints from his patients

This is the first book, 2020 about my experiences going back to school to learn about hospice and palliative medicine at the age of 55! HInt: it did not go great but I learned what I came for.
